This i-learn module will give you an understanding of the evidence and guidance for baby skin care advice and practice. Traditional practices may be contributing to the increase of atopic eczema in children. The module promotes the role of all maternity healthcare workers in reducing those practices. Midwives and MSWs should also be aware of how the evidence has changed, that parents can be offered evidence-based choice and that providing this evidence to parents is covered within the NMC Code.
